Community Outreach
“Ready To Talk” Workshop Kit
The Ready To Talk Workshop is designed to provide resources, tips, hands-on activities, and multimedia components that support parents who want to open up the lines of communication with their teen or pre-teen about sex. In addition to providing support materials for parents, the kit is designed to support you, the facilitator who will be giving the workshop. This kit includes an easy-to-follow Leader Manual with helpful background information about each topic, special instructions for each workshop module and a detailed workshop script that corresponds to the Workshop Presentation. The “Ready to Talk” DVD also includes a segment just for workshop leaders that provides best practices and tips for running a successful workshop.

African American Outreach Center
The African American Outreach Center exists to address the unique needs that African American parents face in this community when addressing the topic of sexuality with their children. Run by Abstinence Between Strong Teens International (ABSTI), the Outreach Center is working in 5 markets around the country providing workshops and community events to support parents and raise awareness of the campaign.

Hispanic Outreach Center
The Hispanic Outreach Center exists to raise awareness of the campaign in the Hispanic community and address the unique needs that Hispanic parents face when addressing the topic of sexuality with their children. Run by the Confederation of Spanish American Families in Chicago, the Outreach Center is working in 7 markets around the country providing workshops and community events to support parents and raise awareness of the campaign. Native American Outreach Center
The Native American Outreach Center exists to raise awareness of the campaign around Indian Country and address the unique needs that Native American parents face when addressing the topic of sexuality with their children. Run by Kauffman & Associates, Inc in Spokane, WA, the Outreach Center is often represented at major Native American gatherings and pow-wows.
